The charm on this necklace is an Hermès lock, originally from an Hermès bag, circa the year 2004. The lock is engraved with an illuminated lightbulb and the French phrase, “vive l'Idée!” (“long live the idea!”). There is a key embedded into the front of the double-sided lock, on which the otherside is engraved “annee de la fantaisie” (“year of fantasy”). A designer statement necklace to treasure forever.

The necklace chain is gold-plated and measures approximately 17 inches in length including the clasp.
