Absolutely classic antique vintage ivory bustier circa the 1950’s. This style can be seen on Brigitte Bardot in the film And God Created Woman (1956), styled by French fashion designer Pierre Balmain.
Marilyn Monroe owned several of these bustiers for her professional wardrobe. Each sold for between $3400-$4000 when they were auctioned in 2005.
Features sheer embroidered details throughout. Looks stunning as loungewear and lingerie, as well as worn out as a statement top. A lovely closet staple and rare timepiece to treasure forever.
